Ice Skating in Florence

Some of the main places to ice skate in Florence are at the Obihall , Parterre Square of Liberty ...and....Santa Croce.

Obihall has ice skating, skiing, snowboarding and tubing, with a visit to a typical mountain village. Til Jan 27. Obihall area ex Kontiki, Lungarno Aldo Moro, off the Arno (see previous post). About a 10-40 min walk from Ponte Vecchio. The rink is in the park located next to the main hall structure, and near the ski run area. Spectator area, food, music. Different costs. M-F 10am - noon
Sat, Sun 8am til noon. The rink is shaped like a snowman:). Afternoon is for athletes and those training or taking lessons, etc.

Parterre Square rental of skates cost is 6E. Hours is apprx 9am/10am, 10am/11am, half past 11am/ half past noon, 2/3pm, half past 3pm/half past 4pm, 5/6pm, half past 6pm/half past 7pm. Evening times 9/10 pm, half past 10pm/half past 11pm. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays noon til 1pm. 9-10 am school kids have free skating. Rink stays open til End of February, and for Carnival.
