Above photo of the Obihall poster for their Winter Park, with ice skating, skiing, snowboarding, etc. There´s a bit of a tiny offpiste Alpin like village, bar for people ice skating watching, eating hot or cold food, with hot and cold drinks. The rink has been shaped like a snowman,). It´s a goodly, yet enjoyable, walk from the Ponte Vecchio...right before the Ponte Marco Polo.
Me wearing probably way too much Norwegian winter clothes: down jacket, over a very thick old-fashioned traditional wool sweater, over two silk-wool thermals, and a long woolen scarf, and ski pants. Will probably end up taking most all that off, as it´s only 40 out!,). Last minute, I did leave the double wool thinsulate fingerless mittens over wool thinsulate gloves; and the wool ski cap. Right before packing my usual Norwegian ice skating snack of Kvikklunsj with oranges (Italian of course).
Hopefully, won´t be too exhausted to not suddenly start debating: T-stop or half plow, when what I usually do is a hockey stop! Not good to be debating which stop whilst actually trying to fullstop,).
Ice skating på tur. Ice skating walkabout. In other words, we will be walking to the ice skating, then ice skating and/or relaxing watching others ice skate. I´ve been ill on and off since Christmas, first with food poisoning, then the flu....so my balance is a bit off. If I can´t skate tomorrow without falling on my arse constantly, then I´ll sit it out to enjoy some hot drinks and watching the others skate! Either way, I know I´ll enjoy myself. And well, with the walk...erhm hiking...probably a bit of a trek, that alone will atleast be some exercise.
Make a line. Then mark 8 line on it. That´s your map. The main long line is a the river. All the smaller lines across are ponte (bridges).
From the left side, bridges in order are:
Ponte Amerigo Vespucci
Ponte Carraia
Ponte S. Trinita
Ponte Vecchio
Ponte all Grazie
Ponte S. Niccolo
Ponte Giovanni d. Verrazzano
Ponte Marco Polo
Various things along the river, will be at thru out the day, and this is my quick map to remember which end the skating is on. Obihall, where the winter park with skating, skiing, boarding etc is, is a bit right past the Ponte Giovanni d Verrazzano. Two buses also go out there, but I think it´s a lovely walk with lots to do and see along the way. Obihall is open from about 10am to midnight.

Delicious hot chocolate, was rich deep dark melted chocolate with full fat milk, no sugar, just a touch of cream. Well worth the price.
Obihall is just beside the river. The river is a long park on either side, including, as you see below, a path along the actual river below, where people walk their dogs on and off lead. This day it was a bit mucky and muddy, so we choose to walk the upper paved tile path, as it was dry and clean. Lots of ducks and tiny seagull type birds on the water.
