Blogging from airport, relaxing in the BGO Komfort Zone. (ADD VIDEO WHEN TIME).

As per usual, luckily the birthday party went long, and T was not on time....as of course, much as I tried, I was not done packing til about the original time he was picking me up! Kids were tired, n nearly asleep, other 2 too, as it was near their Sunday bedtime of 7pm. I´d forgotten to get food from the Sunday shops (ney actually had had no time to), so we stopped by the local bodega open on Sunday along the way, before leaving the island.
For their "outgoing pressie" I´d packed up one box for all of them, with some of their halloween stuff, frankenstein chocolates, Flesland replica metal airplanes, and some surprises. For them to have tomorrow after barnehage and school. E was upset as I left the car---gave lots of sugars (Southern for kisses) and storklem (big hugs!). They were nearly all asleep-n was.
Sorted myself out, deciding last minute to take my parka, as it was cold out, but luckily it squished into my checked luggage. Got a hot latte, which is served here in a thick pint glass. Was veldig gødt! (very good!). Sat at a table, figuring what I was spending tonight on my card (NOTE TO SELF: forgot to add the groceries at Meny__________ NOK). Figured the amount of Euros I needed for cash, to NOK; enjoyed my latte, then walked over to the Kontomachine to exchange NOK to Euros from my account directly, got a saldo.
1) some machines exchange cash money for cash money. I was not using these.
2) Some machines sort the exchange directly out from your bank. I was using these machines. Put in card, put in pin, choose other currency, choose which foreign currency, chose or type in other amount; chose receipt or balance; get cash, choose other transactions or finished, get receipt. Etc. you know the drill. Of course all this in Norwegian, a few words I was not sure of but guessed correctly. Was tired, and had suddenly started to get annoyed they had not Lira! hahaa. Even though I knew I was getting Euros, was still also expecting a Lira choice rather than the star circle choice,).

Got cash out for hotel. Got enough cash for airport bus and city bus multi-card, and a bit extra, just in case I need it for trattoria first day out.

Had another latte, whilst again balancing my bank account, subtracting in NOK the Euros I´d just taken out. and the latte 38 NOK.

Was a bit plussed about the city bus costing so much! 6E (let´s use E for Euros, as I´m getting tired of typing it, and it takes time to find it in symbol each time) for one single use. 10E return. I took out enough for 6 single uses, if I can´t get a multi card or return, and 6 singles ends up being 60 bucks! I´m gonna politely complain if I can´t get a multi card at the station, if they are out! The single uses add up quick!!

Komfort zone I´m in overlooks the main terminal entry, shops, kiosk, cafe, exchange machines and check in area. It is right above to the middle of the security. When facing security, do not take the escalator or lift, but take the hidden stairs to the left, as it is the only way up to the Komfort Zone, which is on your right, half way up, with a glass door.
All this is right below the main restaurants upstairs.
Upon arrival, I´d asked for some gratis card password and usernames, as my phone was low and needed charging so didn´t want to get any SMS. Plus it was just easier, to have the cards, even though the SMS is immediate. I got 6 hours worth (offered as I was here overnight, and he said to just come round to get more if I needed). Wifi is gratis (free) at airport, all you need is the password and usernames, which usually they send SMS to your Norwegian phone. Or give you cards, each good for an hour at a time.
Gratis wifi at airport, is for your entire stay. Most people are not here overnight, most just use a few hours, but you just ask for more free hours if you need it.

Komfort zone has electric outlets, lounge chairs tables, etc. Currently, I´m blogging, vlogging, charging my phone, and uploading vids and photos.
There are luggage lockers below, 50NOK for smallest I think. Every time you open the locker, it charges again, so make sure if you use them, remember you can´t go in them again without paying again to lock it if you want to lock it again. Might use them later, as I´d like to walk around for a while, without my luggage.
